Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Linewarden (linewarden.atesensoftware.com), provided by Samet Ateşen, trading as Atesen Software, Sakarya, Türkiye ("we"). By using Linewarden or buying a license you accept them.
1. What Linewarden does
Linewarden is browser software that reads service line inventory files you provide, classifies each line by applying the rules published in 40 CFR part 141 (as in force on 1 October 2026) and the logic of EPA's Service Line Inventory Template to the data in your file, and builds workbooks, lists, a public inventory page, notification letters and replacement figures. It does not inspect service lines, verify your records or submit anything to a State or to EPA.
2. Free use and licenses
- Running the made-up sample, checking your own inventory and viewing the counts, problems and the first 25 lines on screen are free.
- A license unlocks the downloads for your own data for 12 months from the purchase date. Single system: 1 public water system (PWSID). Multi-system: up to 10 water systems. Consultant: unlimited water systems, including clients you serve.
- Licenses are for use by your organisation's personnel and may not be resold, shared outside your organisation or published.
3. Payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices are shown in USD. Where VAT or sales tax applies, Paddle calculates it and shows the total before you pay. Licenses are one-time payments covering 12 months and do not renew automatically.
4. Your responsibility
Linewarden is not legal or engineering advice. The material of each service line, the evidence for it, the content of notices and your replacement plan are decisions for your water system, its engineers and your State. Results depend on the data you provide. You remain responsible for meeting every requirement and deadline.
5. Availability and changes
We may improve, change or discontinue features. A license keeps its download access for its 12-month term, including updates for changes to the rules it applies. Files you downloaded remain yours.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Linewarden is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including penalties, enforcement actions or lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Refunds
See the refund policy: 14-day money-back guarantee.
